Tactical Emergency Casualty Care
This TECC course will focus on five primary concerns: controlling massive hemorrhaging using commercial and improvised tourniquets, securing an airway using devices and maneuvers, improving respirations, addressing shock, and hypothermia. Medication, initial management of amputations, fractures, and wound dressing will also be incorporated.
MORARI MORTEM uses a scenario-based approach to medical training because it is rare to find yourself in a hostile scenario and need only one skill to get yourself out. So, when possible, we combine live fire with our medical lanes in order to merge multiple skills in a chronological sequence. We use the most up to date information in our curriculum to ensure our students get the most out of our training. About half of our class is in a classroom environment and the rest will be outdoors on a firing range (when possible).
